Munich, Hidden Secret in Plain Sight
I have not been to Germany that much, but after my visit to Munich, I think I should visit it more. I had no expectations, well, maybe I was expecting a beer and bratwurst, but I was pleasantly surprised. Munich is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve been to. It has a lot of history and stories. It has beautiful outdoor spaces, it is spacious and you can find very exquisite restaurants like the Tantris.
The one thing that really made me appreciate Munich people, and maybe Germany in whole is the concept of you are responsible for yourself. Which means, they tell you that something is dangerous and you should avoid doing it or take precautions, like wearing a helmet when biking, but they don’t fine you if you decide not to wear that helmet. It’s at your own risk. For some reason I found that refreshingly empowering. It really gives you the power of decision.
